As a company we bring our energy and passion
Genuine People
We pride ourselves on being good at what we do and being a great group of people to work with.
That's why we work hard to be a great company to work for.
Our people are some of the brightest and most dedicated in our industries and by encouraging a culture of innovation and empowerment we can ensure that this continues.
Developing our people and facilitating pathways to growth is our dedication to the long term prosperity of our organisation and we understand that the wellbeing of our people is key to our success.

Core Beliefs
In 2020 with our people in mind, we embarked on a journey to revisit and revitalise our company values. Not just words on a page, these values framed as our Core Beliefs, have become the fabric on which our organisation has grown in the past few years.
We are proud of the contribution made by staff across the country to help develop our Core Beliefs, and continue to be excited every day that they have been embraced and adopted as the cornerstone of how we do business with each other, with our customers and throughout our communities.

As a company we:

Impart knowledge to grow our people
We are committed to the ongoing learning and development of our people. An organisation that stops learning won't survive in a world of constant change. As a group we understand the importance of encouraging our employees to grow and have embraced the need to adapt, improve and evolve.
Learning and development at Euro comes in many forms, including:
-
Inductions
-
On the job training
-
Compliance (for example forklift license or working at heights)
-
Internal courses such as Stepping Up or Managers Toolkit
-
Internal courses linked to NZQA qualifications
-
External public courses
-
Seminars and conferences
-
Coaching and mentoring
As well as providing all the normal courses, qualifications and memberships our people need to do their jobs, we also offer a range of learning programmes designed specifically for our business to help develop employees at various stages throughout their career.
Each programme draws on staff from across the entire Euro Corporation group which provides a great opportunity to gain a better understanding of how the wider organisation operates.
The programmes range from a seven day course focused on:
-
Effective communication
-
problem solving
-
health safety and wellness
-
ownership and attitude
-
teamwork,
through to an eight month course for employees in management positions aimed at driving productivity and employee engagement among those who lead change.
